I have heard from many discerning colleagues that the Service of Installation was quite wonderful. I am, of course, biased. Cheryl Watts lifted her voice, FredO showed what our magnificent organ can do, Allen was witty and welcoming, Mary M. and Joan B-R brought items for the reception and many hands pitched in to make a wonderful event.
I am especially grateful to Rev. Betsy Happel of Kirkwood UCC who preached and to Rev. Dr. Marc A. Wessels, Associate Conference Minister, and Jane Porchey and Karen Miller, co-chairs of the Committee on the Ministry who were present to conduct the installation.
